Alice AWR Series

After decades of anticipations, China has finally produced hight-quality concert guitar strings that are competitive with all the major brands in the market. I was surprised years ago when Ramirez toured China, showcasing their latest masterpieces strung with the Alice AWR series, which received very positive feedback, For half price of the major strings companies, you get quality that matches theirs.

Very sad news....

I just read that Thomas Humphrey (http://www.thomashumphrey.com/) died from a massive heart attack yesterday. What a terrible loss--for so many reasons.

Thomas was the one who famous his lattice braced with thinner than usual soundboard. He was also the one who famous the evelated fretboard. His guitars play Assads brothers, Elliot Fisk, Sharon Isbin, Michael Chapdelaine, etc... May he rest in peace.
